2011 Honda Fit Sport Review

The Honda Fit offers more value for model year 2011 in its versatile and pleasant to drive, five-door package on fuel. New for 2011, all models include Vehicle Stability Assist ™ (VSA ®) as standard equipment, with more comfort and convenience.

New features of the Fit (base model) includes cruise control, keyless entry, a USB audio interface and CSR. Fit Sport (non-navigation) CSR also gains in 2011, with the mats. Fit Sport with navigation (already included with CSR as standard equipment) receives the mat as standard equipment.

Four new colors are available - Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Blue Metallic and Celestial Vortex Blue Pearl - and replacing the corresponding colors of the previous model.

The exterior design offers excellent outward visibility and contributes to the dynamics of the car, sporting attitude. The 1.5-liter i-VTEC ® 4-cylinder engine is tuned to offer a rewarding combination of power and fuel economy. A gearbox five-speed manual is standard and a five-speed automatic transmission available. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters on the Fit Sport models equipped with optional automatic transmission allows manual gear selection.

Compact on the outside with a total length of 161.6 inches, the interior offers impressive occupancy rate of 90.8 cubic feet for his class and a rear cargo volume of 20.6 cubic feet. The rear Magic Seat provides a simple feature motion dive down and can be folded into the floor to create a rear cargo volume of 57.3 cubic feet.

Fifteen and 16-inch wheels (Fit and Fit Sport respectively) as 175/65 R15 84S (Fit) and 185/55 R16 83H (Fit Sport) tires. The antilock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD) uses 10.3-inch ventilated discs front and drums in the rear 7.9 inches.

Fit comes with standard amenities like air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, AM / FM / CD with four speakers, USB Audio interface2, auxiliary input, MP3/WMA playback, Radio Data System (RDS) , power windows, power mirrors and door locks. Fit Sport adds or replaces: carpeted floor mats, alloy wheels, an underbody aero kit, rear roof spoiler, fog lights and a security system.

Fit Sport audio system provides six speakers. The Fit Sport is available with a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System ™ with voice Recognition3 with a 6.5-inch screen and more than seven million points of interest.
